While we’re eating tacos,
they’re eating our lunch.
San Antonio now “America’s Most Economically-Segregated” Large Metro Area!
On May 16th, 7 out of 11 members of the San Antonio City Council, including Mayor Ron Nirenberg, voted for $87 million in fee waivers recommended by SAWS, our public water utility, benefitting developers who pushed for likely the most expensive water in Texas – the 143-mile Vista Ridge water pipeline.
Who will make up the difference?
SAWS residential ratepayers, of course!
Three candidates in the runoff election for Mayor and City Council support an ordinance to rein in SAWS and audit Vista Ridge.
We don't need coins, we need change:
Greg Brockhouse for Mayor
Jada Andrews-Sullivan for District 2
Adriana Garcia for District 4
Tues. May 28 -- Tues. June 4
Election Day: Saturday, June 8
Note: Any registered voter of San Antonio can vote in this runoff election.
